The views of rolling hills and groomed rows of vineyards. The narrow stone streets of her little hometown. Laughter and memories of when it was just the two of them. True friends.
Now they sit together on the terrace, the orange disc of the setting sun painting the tips of the pines crimson red. The sparkling bubbles of their favourite prosecco slowly leave the rim of the glass one after another to escape into the summer evening. Soon, everything is swallowed up by velvety black darkness. Elena already knows that she and Lily will be talking for a long time. She pulls her silk scarf down over her shoulders and closes her eyes for a moment. She will remember this feeling for a long time. She turns to Lily and says, "Just the two of us. Together. Now, tomorrow, forever. Cheers!"
A scarf collection inspired by the landscape of Valdobbiadene in northern Italy, where the renowned Mionetto winery has been growing and producing its sparkling wines since 1887. The colours of the landscape at sunset, the bubbles of sparkling prosecco and the silhouettes of two girlfriends enjoying it together after a day's drive in the surrounding hills: all of these are hidden in our scarf pattern. When the Mionetto brand approached me about creating a scarf inspired by their legendary Prosecco, I was thrilled. I love Italy, Italian wine and what's more, our scarves are also printed here. I thought it was a genius combination. I was soon clear about the design and the colors. A typical Italian undulating landscape with cypress and pine trees, an iconic vespa and two girlfriends enjoying a glass of prosecco together. The colors of the sunset sky from orange to pink to dark red and creamy bubbles in the glass. I had this image in my head when I was thinking about how to portray the story of prosecco Mionetto, which has been produced by the winery of the same name since 1887 in the Valdobbiadene region of northern Italy.
I once again invited Dominka Řežová, who had already worked on the previous IKARIE SG1 universe collection, to collaborate on the pattern. Her clean and clearly defined artistic style accurately captured the atmosphere and the moment that I wanted to capture on the scarf.

I was delighted when Martina approached me again to collaborate on a new scarf pattern. I liked the assignment and the concept as well as the selected color palette. We fine-tuned the composition together quite quickly. The goal was for the observer to gradually discover new details in the pattern and not everything was obvious at first look. It took more time to develop the illustration to the correct scale for the size of the scarf, so that everything remained clean and simple, but at the same time the pattern changed and was still interesting when worn.
I am a graduate of product design at the Faculty of Architecture in Bratislava. However, I have always focused more on illustrations, art and advertising. That's why I moved to Prague after my studies, where I currently work as a freelance illustrator for several brands and agencies. In addition to illustrating, I also work as an art director at the advertising agency Leo Burnett.
MATERIAL OF SCARVES AND PACKAGING
The author's design is printed on 100% silk twill in ORGANIC quality,
with HAND rolled edges
The scarves are stored in handmade boxes. The package also includes certificates with a fairy tale and an original string with a pearl button. This is used for tying scarves and arranging them on clothes. Scarves made of 100% BIO silk have a unique printing serial number in their certificates. They are produced in limited series - only 100 pieces 90x90 cm and 200 pieces 47x47 cm and 124x6 cm.
