We present the author's collection of porcelain bowls The Tale of Prince Genji with a pattern inspired by the novel by the Japanese writer Murasaki Shikibu from the Heian period, which she wrote around 1020. The pattern on the bowls matches the collection of scarves of the same name printed on luxurious silk, premium cotton and cashmere with silk. The illustration was created by Bára Srp Žižková in collaboration with Martina Karafiátová, founder of the Silky Gang brand. The bowl can be ideal for drinking your favorite tea, for nuts, for small fruits or as a decoration for your table. The bowls have different decor inside - motifs of the four seasons, spring, summer, autumn, winter. When purchasing the entire set - i.e. 4 bowls, you will receive a 10% discount. The discount will be deducted from your purchase. The illustration on the bowls was created using the demanding screen printing method, when a total of 10 screens were used for the perfect result. Professional overglaze colors were fired in a tunnel kiln at a temperature of 840 °C. The result is a porcelain piece with a multi-colored motif. The bowl is placed in a luxurious, handmade box. The package also includes a card with a pattern of motifs on the bowls.
You can also buy plates from the same collection to complement the bowls and create an original porcelain set. Made in the Czech Republic.
